Paint & Pixels

changED to

Jenna Lueck Art.

November 2021 - I am excited to announce that I am changing my business name to Jenna Lueck Art.  This change has already taken place on social media and will gradually happen on all platforms, including this website!

⁉️ WHY would I do this ⁉️

👉 I initially created the name Paint & Pixels back in 2017.  I was starting to paint professionally, but also wanted a name that would be all-inclusive.  I have a degree in Art, a degree in Graphic Design, and I was also dabbling in Photography.  I wanted to be able to do all 3 if I chose to.

👉 Fast forward a few years, and it is quite obvious that I am not doing graphic design or professional photography. I love painting!  Painting is what I want to be doing, painting is where I want to be.  Talking to you about my paintings is what I enjoy!

👉 Early on in “Art Festival Land”, I learned that people ask a lot of questions about the term “Pixels” in my business name.  You see, “pixels” makes people from the art world think that the art is digitally created or edited on the computer.  That is NOT the case with my art, and I was honestly frustrated with the confusion because I had such great intentions when I created the business name!

👉 I quickly removed my logo and all things “Paint & Pixels” from my tent.  The art conversations started to flow so much more smoothly.  There were no more questions.  It was obvious that my paintings were painted by hand after there wasn’t any conflicting signage hanging in my tent.

👉 But, changing everything online takes A LOT of time.  I have debated making the change over the past two years, but was never ready.  If Covid taught me anything, it was that I really need to be more present online.  I have already made great strides on social media, and my next big step is removing the potentially mis-leading name from my art.  Now, I am ready!

✨ Nothing is changing with me or my paintings.  You’ll keep seeing the same great things, only under a new name – Jenna Lueck Art. ✨
