“The Overlook” is the seventh painting in my Eastern Iowa: Balltown Series and represents another very popular view from Balltown, Iowa.  On clear days, you can easily see miles into Wisconsin from the Balltown Overlook!  This part of the Iowa landscape is nothing short of stunning.  You can look and see all of the different types of crops growing in the fields, along with the scattered “little farms” in the distance across the Mississippi river.
