Do you offer prints?

Yes! I offer prints as small as 5”x5” and up to 3’ wide. I have a selection of prints in stock, and numerous options that you can order – including luster paper, canvas, and metal. Prints come in a variety of options to meet your needs. Need an in-expensive, but unique gift? Check out my small luster prints. Need a big piece for your living room but cannot splurge on an original right now? Metal prints make a bold statement, are low maintenance, and easy to clean!

Do you offer custom/commission paintings?

Definitely! This is how I bring your memories and stories to life. We collaborate on exactly what you would like and you get an amazing work of art that is yours and yours alone! You can read more about my commission painting process here.

What is the difference between a commission painting and an original painting?

An original painting is a painting that I created based off of something that I saw and loved.  I sell prints of all original paintings that I create.

A commission painting is a painting that is unique to you.  You tell me what you would like created, we collaborate and you get an amazing painting that is geared toward a picture or memory of yours.  I do not sell prints of commission paintings unless you request them, and then I only sell them to you.  You can read more about the commission painting process here.

How do I start the commission process?

Simply send me an email at Jenna@JennaLueckArt.com to let me know that you are interested. You can also click here to read more about the process and see an example of one of my commission paintings.

How are your paintings finished?

Original & custom paintings are painted with Liquitex Professional paints. All paintings are sealed with multiple coats of Liquitex Professional Gloss Spray Varnish once completed to protect against UV light and dust.

When do you release new paintings?

I don’t have scheduled release dates so the best way to find out about new paintings is to join my newsletter. You can also follow me on Instagram @JennaLueckArt or Facebook @JennaLueckArt to see works-in-progress. Or, you can stop by my Balltown, Iowa studio and you might catch me in-action. Some pieces sell before they are even completed!

Will you hold a painting for me?

I offer flexible payment plans and will hold an original painting for you as soon as a down payment is received.  Once your payments are complete, you receive your new artwork.  It’s easy! Simply email at Jenna@JennaLueckArt.com to let me know that you are interested in a payment plan and we’ll discuss the details.

Will my painting look the same under the lights in my house as it does on your website?  What light source did you use to take photos?

I try to keep my lighting as realistic as possible for my website images.  I use a warmer daylight colored light in my studio.  If you have any concerns about lighting, please reach out to me at Jenna@JennaLueckArt.com, and I will be happy to send you snapshots of the painting you are considering in numerous different lighting options.

I’m worried about how the painting will look on my wall.  Can you help me visualize a painting in my home?

Definitely!  Please take a photo of your room and send it (along with the name of the painting you are interested in) to Jenna@JennaLueckArt.com.  I am happy to digitally place the painting or print on your blank wall for you to preview.

What size artwork is best for my home?

If you know where you would like to place your art, or which rooms you would like to brighten, send me some photos and I can help!  I will ask for a few measurements and then I can digitally show you what a certain painting will look like on your wall.

Do I need a frame?

Paintings: Unless otherwise requested, the edges (gallery wrap) of each painting are painted black to create a clean, professional look that does not need to be framed.  Paintings can be left unframed or you can add a frame for an even more personalized look.

Metal Prints: Do not need to be framed.  They free-float 1” off of the wall and have a sharp appearance without a frame.

Luster Prints:  Small luster prints can be set on an easel or framed.  (You will want them mounted on styrene or in a protective sleeve if displaying on an easel without a frame.)  Large luster prints should be framed with glass, plastic or plexiglass in front of them.

Canvas Prints: Rolled canvas prints will need to be stretched and framed when you receive them.  They do not need glass or anything covering the canvas.

I’m not sure what color of frame will look good with my art.

Concerned about framing your art? If you don’t have a great framing shop in your area, I can help you with that too! Most of my paintings look great in a black frame because it makes the bright colors pop even more. Want something less standard? Send me an email at Jenna@JennaLueckArt.com and I can help you with ideas.
