Pickin’ Wildflowers

The fourth painting in my Eastern Iowa: Balltown Series was inspired by a walk that I took with my aunt, her friend and my kids.  The kids were busy “pickin’ wildflowers” to put in vases and give to family members who weren’t able to make the hike.  The adults were busy taking in the beauty around us- the wildflowers blooming, the hilly Iowa farmland leading to the Mississippi river and the overall amazing view that reaches well into Wisconsin.

“Pickin’ Wildflowers” features the view from a hill on the south side of Balltown Road looking to the north, just outside of Lower Balltown, Iowa.

Original painting size is 24” high x 48” wide.
