The Old, Rustic Barn

The old, rustic barn stands strong in the Midwest landscape as a brilliant skyscape dances behind it.  I love seeing these barns as I drive through the countryside.  My favorites are those that are kept up, but still look old – a hard feat to accomplish! 

This painting is based off of a barn that can be found near Marengo, Iowa.
